I took this video of Nina yesterday mid morning. I thought it might be helpful for everyone to see how her symptoms are deteriorating! In this video, Nina cannot be more eager to be going swimming. Yvonne, ever the consummate planner, had called the local YMCA who happily agreed to having us come! It is beyond obvious that she is severely struggling with speaking and breathing!!! But yet...even in the middle of her own misery Nina fights. She never stops fighting. Her sass is brilliant and her smile luminescent!!!
Dearest Rosy...
ReplyDeleteI can barley breathe right now...through the tears and the heart break that I feel from seeing sweet Nina struggle. No words can ever explain the depths of how this must be for you and your loved ones. You explain yourself very well in your daily posts and yet I can only imagine it is a fragment of the enormous amount of pain you are feeling each day. As Sosie said you are an inspiration.
I pray for precious Nina and I pray for everyone that loves her!
There are so many people that have been touched by her. She is literally loved by hundreds of people!
Love,
~Amy
Rosy,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your precious girls story for awhile now and am so touched by yours and her strength! What an amazing mommy, friend and companion you are to everyone around you! I pray for all of you daily! May your days be filled with joy, laughter, and comfort!
You are truly an inspiration! And your sweet Nina is just as beautiful! I love her smiles and how she loves buttered toast as that is one of my favorites too!
Thinking of you and your family!
Tracy

I have been following your blog ever since Britt Merrick posted your blog link on his page. Rosy, you are such a strong woman. Your optimism and strength are so inspiring. What a precious gem your daughter is. Thank your for sharing your journey with the world. Your family is so beautiful and I pray for strength, encouragement, and nothing short of a miracle for Nina.
ReplyDeleteRosy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting the video. Loved seeing Nina and all her swimsuits! (I think my favorite was the orange one!) Your loving kindness pours out all over her. She is blessed to have you for her Mommy. BUT I know you are just as blessed to have her for your daughter.
Prayers going up day and night for your family,
Lynne
We will not stop praying for your sweet baby. She is just beautiful! Thank you for sharing your story. XO
ReplyDeleteI have been following your post since Britt Merrick posted his comment about you guys on his site. I am praying hard for your family. I feel heavy hearted right now after watching this video, but like you, I know the One who gives peace beyond all understanding. He knows, He sees, He cares,He carries, He loves us and hurts for us. Thank you for posting the updates. Please know that your family is being lifted up in pray everyday, all day long.
ReplyDeleteRosy!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful example of the LOVE you have for your family. You are such an inspiration to me... On my worst days I pull my strength from you! Thank you so much for sharing this. Eliana watched this with me and she kept repeating everything Nina was saying. I think she could understand her better then me! And she wanted to keep kissing her and saying "I walave(love) you"!
We pray for Nina daily.. as we do for you and Todd and Teddy.
You are absolutely and angel on earth for Miss Nina!
So glad you posted this video Of Nina. I continue to pray for all of you. You inspire me.
